Welcome!
Our group is Viva Voce ("the living voice" in Latin), and we are in the process of putting on an event to raise funds and awareness against human trafficking! Our event will take place in downtown of Marion, IN on April 10th, 2010 and will consist of two different events.
Day event (2-5 p.m., downtown Marion):
- musical entertainment
- anti-trafficking organizations
- various food vendors
- Instillation Art by Indiana Wesleyan University art group
- kids' activities
Night event (6-10 p.m., Community School of Arts; $5 entry fee):
- featured speaker, Laura Lederer, former senior advisor on human trafficking to George W. Bush
- acoustic sets from small bands
- coffee and desserts (part of entry fee)
- organizations' booths transferred to night event
